PRWA’s CEO, COO and CFO were on display with the Cassanovas brand at the 2019 Feed Nigeria Summit in Abuja, Nigeria, with the theme ‘Unlocking Prosperity Through Partnership’. While COO Emeka provided the Minister of Agriculture, His Excellency Alhaji Mohammed Sabo Nanono with delicious samples of Cassanovas chips, CEO Thomas and CFO Keith were invited on stage to discuss the development of the brand and how the agroprocessing sector is key to unlocking the value in Nigeria’s food chain and opening valuable export markets around the world. Highlighting the theme of partnership as one of the major cornerstones of the 5 Ps of sustainable development (the others being Peace, Prosperity, People and Planet), they discussed the mutually beneficial partnerships PRWA has with suppliers, offering long term contracts at competitive rates, as well as providing expert and helping with inputs alongside government partners like GIZ and BMZ, improving yields, quality, revenues for our farmers and the quality of inputs for our products. Similarly, we work in partnership with all of our staff, providing secure salaries, training, apprenticeships and other benefits that lead to us having a very low staff turnover rate, allowing us to retain the best talent and invest in their futures. With Cassanovas now being sold in 6 countries around Europe and soon to be available in America, PRWA are leading the way for all Nigerian and African brands, demonstrating how working in partnership can create value for all.
