CASSANOVAS HOSTS THE UK MINISTER OF STATE FOR AFRICA

The Cassanovas factory was honoured by avisit from one of the biggest champions of African business in the form of the UK’s Minister for Africa for DFID and FCO, the Rt. Honourable Harriett Baldwin MP. On the day that Nigeria joined the Africa Free Trade Area, the Minister was delighted to see a Nigerian manufacturer that was producing products for export around the continenr, as well as to Europe, America and th Middle East. She lauded Nigeria’s non-oil export potential, with Cassanovas and other brands like Bonitas Treats, Loshes chocolates, Kaldi Coffee, Foodpro and others showing how Nigeria can return to being a net exporter of food, as it was in the 1960 and 70s. Furthermore, the UK government also signed Cassanovas as a test case for the Global Prosperity Fund, targeting the exportsector of middle income economies like Nigeria to help them develop the economy through promoting international sales and connection
